Looking for a Windows Dedi & Linux based VPS.

Hey everyone just looking for some advise on servers. I have 2 servers atm, one is a VPS from Namecheap at 60 month. 2 GB (+2 GB burst) 2 CPU cores 60 GB HDD (SAS RAID10) 500 GB bandwidth Semi managed though... (Can get tech support when needed for free. I really don't need it if cpanel is in play.) 60 a month. (It kinda hurts.) The other is a VPS from NFOServers. Virtual CPU cores: 6 Memory size: 12288 MB Standard hard drive size: 600 GB SSD hard drive size: 0 GB IP addresses: 3 Paying 96... This is an custom/upgraded VPS from them. I love NFOServers a lot I have never had a problem with them. I'm just looking for something bigger and "better" without destroying my wallet. NFO's Tier 1 Dedi is 129.99 plus setup which is 39.99 so almost 200 for the first month then 130 for the following. I get that most companies go this route. So I'd like to have something like: 2 Core 2-4 GB RAM Good DL/UP. Decent sized storage. Location: USA Gonna be hosting multiple sites and a TS3 Master Server with 4 Virtual Servers Servers. cPanel/WHM with the option of WHMCS would be nice. I understand if its extra. 8 Core 32 GB Good DL/UP. Good sized storage since ill be storing game files etc. Location: USA Would be required to have Windows option. This is where it kills me. But if the price is right I might bite. This is gonna be for game servers so I know this one will cost more. I've been window shopping and OVH was the top of my list until the license price addon and/or buying a copy myself. I've also looked at SYS, Wholesale, kimsufi etc. I'm just looking for advise on which direction I should go. Thanks in advance!

@Surf3rDud3 If it was me I would end up going the Dedicated Server direction. Then set it up as a KVM server. This way you can set up the KVM's that you need for your sites as well as set up a Windows server all on the same system. Plus gives your some room to grow. You could go the route of just getting a few VPS servers at one location and then always upgrade later. One thing you did not mention is how many ip you need.

Thanks for replying! Was thinking VPS for the Web Hosting and Dedi for the Game Servers etc. I would do throw everything on a Windows Server but I havent really came across a good cpanel alternative for windows. I'd like to have something so i can have accounts tied to each site/domain so i can have who ever access it. I'm not looking to grow too big yet just would like to have a good starting foundation. I host game servers and sites for a few people for no cost. It's mostly a hobby i've had for a few years. As for IP's would like 2 just for web hosting and 5 or 6 for the dedi-box.

You could always get a dedicated server set up hyper-v put linux on it and use cpanel through that it would require a license. or you could always find a partner community if you run game servers and split server costs in away so you each pay half of the servers etc if 2 dedicated servers would be out of the price range.

Anyone know of some companies that allow that? I don't know much about Virtualizing a Server but if its something that i can pick up I'd be ok with that.

Any server company that will allow you to run windows you can have hyper-v for free, only downside to it ive heard is that its not great for running game servers on a hyper-v server but ive never tried. ive always just ran my game servers on the windows instance and my website or a portion of my website on the Linux hyper-v

Is Proxmox any good? And youre saying if I use something virtualize the windows server the game servers wont run as well as being out of virtualization?

ive never used proxmox so i cant say if its good or not. As for what i mean is as long as the games are ran on the native OS(im assuming windows OS) they will run normal but if you try and set up a hyper-v server to run a game server it will take a hit in performance like any vps. so if you were to do hyper-v ide make sure to run all game servers on the native os and the websites on the hyper-v which i believe is what you are doing as of right now?
