What means quality to you? Budget or premium provider, any other requirements? I really like leaseweb in NL

Hi, BizzHost. I think this may be of help for you: http://www.hostsearch.com/hostdirect...eb-hosting.asp

by "quality" I mean stable providers with good overall reputation. Thanks

You can check the list I gave you and then use WHT to check on user feedback to determine the quality, stability and reputation of the hosting providers as WHT is a trustable source for this.

You can swiftway for Netherlands location, using them since past 2 or more years and its been amazing experience. Give them a try

You may also want to check out the offers section. It requires some work but you can have great finds over there!

LeaseWeb would be a good choice we used them a while ago.. a lot of providers in 2017 are moving to NL or opening out product lines in NL. So, you'll see a ot more options in the near future.

WorldStream is an excellent choice for the Netherlands and Hetzner is the obvious choice for Germany, I suggest you try them both. Last edited by Prager-IT; 01-23-2017 at 07:00 PM.

I've used nforce.com in the past. They're rock solid and for +10€ for month you can even get aggregated 1Gbit link (2x1Gbit) which others doesn't offer that often (or maybe with a hefty price). They also got some cool offers (1h deals) that gives you enterprise hardware under 60€. I'm always keen trying new stuff (try a new server in a new network) and wanted to see how my network works to them, so I went to their site and tried tracerouting the test ip in NL (I'm living in Finland and I'm having TeliaSonera 100Mbit fibre at home). Tracing route to supa8015.swiftway.net [94.100.16.46] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms dsl-vsabrasgw1-54fb60-1.dhcp.inet.fi [84.251.96.1] 2 7 ms 7 ms 7 ms hls-b1-link.telia.net [62.115.143.84] 3 17 ms 15 ms 15 ms s-bb4-link.telia.net [80.91.250.60] 4 34 ms 34 ms 34 ms ffm-bb3-link.telia.net [213.155.132.153] 5 34 ms 34 ms 34 ms ffm-b12-link.telia.net [62.115.142.65] 6 37 ms 38 ms 37 ms ae-13.r02.frnkge03.de.bb.gin.ntt.net [213.248.72.10] 7 36 ms 51 ms 36 ms ae-2.r20.frnkge04.de.bb.gin.ntt.net [129.250.5.217] 8 38 ms 38 ms 38 ms ae-9.r25.amstnl02.nl.bb.gin.ntt.net [129.250.3.77] 9 38 ms 39 ms 38 ms ae-2.r02.amstnl02.nl.bb.gin.ntt.net [129.250.2.159] 10 59 ms 199 ms * ae-0.swiftway.amstnl02.nl.bb.gin.ntt.net [81.20.64.62] 11 39 ms 39 ms 39 ms 251.17.100.94.static.swiftway.net [94.100.17.251] 12 41 ms 42 ms 42 ms supa8015.swiftway.net [94.100.16.46] 2nd run 10th hop : 39 ms 39 ms * ae-0.swiftway.amstnl02.nl.bb.gin.ntt.net [81.20.64.62] 3rd run 10th hop : * 39 ms 39 ms ae-0.swiftway.amstnl02.nl.bb.gin.ntt.net [81.20.64.62] Too afraid to order from that location. That would be the Router and/or DDOS mitigation layer dropping inbound ICMP packets directed against it. Routers and other networking equipment do not prioritize ICMP, run a ping test targeted at the endserver and you should not see any dropped packets.

Securedservers have their servers in Amsterdam

Posted by -liquid-, 01-24-2017, 10:11 AM
some ISP i know is leaseweb.com .. undergroundprivate.com (i use this currently because i had issues with the previous one and blocked me) and evoswitch.com they are all good.. all those they offer 1Gbps to 10Gbps what ever you need.. be careful if you take dmca to some of those isp's you will get suspended..

Posted by swiftnoc, 01-24-2017, 10:18 AM
Evoswitch is a carrier-neutral datacenter not a porvider of bandwidth or servers. They rent datarooms, cages and racks to various providers and companies and some of those offer dedicated servers and bandwidth (ie Leaseweb as well as ourselves) but Evoswitch is not providing bandwidth or servers directly.

Posted by -liquid-, 01-24-2017, 10:24 AM
oh yes.. that's correct.. i wrote it because i remember they said they can give a server.. that's why..

Posted by neXeonDominic, 01-24-2017, 06:30 PM
Although we have not used them, Serverius has been more than helpful in finding us options for future expansion and research provided great feedback from both prospective and current customers. Maybe finding one of the providers located in their NOC would be helpful. I know some customers that use EVOSwitch as well and they are solid. As @swiftnoc recommended, find a reputable name there as well.

Leaseweb for Netherlands and Hetzner for Germany I will recommend you. Both are reputed server provider.

Consider Nforce as well.

I bought Hetzner auction server yesterday with 2x2TB Sata Enterprise disks. It felt sluggish so I ran hdparm -tT /dev/sda /dev/sda: Timing cached reads: 29210 MB in 2.00 seconds = 14620.26 MB/sec Timing buffered disk reads: 18 MB in 3.40 seconds = 5.30 MB/sec root@Ubuntu-1604-xenial-64-minimal ~ # hdparm -Tt /dev/sda /dev/sda: Timing cached reads: 29836 MB in 2.00 seconds = 14933.88 MB/sec Timing buffered disk reads: 106 MB in 3.10 seconds = 1.19 MB/sec I cancelled the server and notified the staff. I swapped to SSD servers which was ok. I also ran some iperf results and they were great - avg. 942Mbps from another German provider (10Gbps link).

What do you mean under quality? What type of service do you need? DDoS protection? Managed or unmanaged? Do you have any priority for Data Centers? Budget? Technical requairments?

Posted by BizzHost-Admin, 01-27-2017, 03:24 AM
Good Hardware, Good Network, Good Support Quad Core Dedicated Servers Unmanaged No priority for Datacenter. Under $200/mo. Roughly... Quad CPU / 2x Quad CPU 4 x 2 TB SATA RAID-10 32 GB RAM

I currently have a server colo'd at Serverius I rent vps's on. Serverius has been really solid for NL. I've also had Hetzner servers in the past, they were good as well. I've heard nForce is a good provider, but haven't had any servers there before.

I use hostnet.de It is located in Germany and has the best support we ever experienced. I can post more infos if you are interested in which product we use from them or how the performance is.

Posted by hakabe, 01-28-2017, 12:00 PM
I wish the offers could be more detailed or that there could sections for each continent. It's hard to find EU providers without browsing them one by one - that's too time consuming.

Posted by MrTony, 01-28-2017, 12:02 PM
This would be a good idea, or at least create a rule where providers must tag their offers with [EU] [US] [ASIA] in the thread title.

Posted by hakabe, 01-28-2017, 12:39 PM
Yeah I suggested that idea about one year ago - and yet some of the people saw that as a good idea, only handful are implementing the idea.

hostnet.de i think is a good choice

Posted by bear, 01-29-2017, 09:16 AM
Please contact us at this link to provide something to show that experience: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/report.php?p=9835811 Have you used them yourself?

Posted by serversget, 01-29-2017, 07:44 PM
The best choice for Germany is server4you/serverloft and in NL worldstream

Posted by mario88, 01-30-2017, 09:51 AM
Yes we use them now in every project.

Posted by bear, 01-30-2017, 10:46 AM
Please use the link provided in that post to contact us with something to show that.

Posted by SenseiSteve, 01-30-2017, 11:07 AM
I think what you'll see then are a good number of offers with all three areas tagged.

Posted by MrTony, 01-30-2017, 11:11 AM
Yeah, what I've said is that it could become a standard, because not all providers will adopt this, but there are the ones adopting it already of course.
