Good price is $400 for server with 10Gbps dedicated? You didn't provide any information about other things like location, budget, needed amount of traffic in 10G line. Also do not forget - streaming clients are not profitable to providers, unless they pay for traffic.

I'm afraid that $400 for a 10 Gbps port with the server secs above sound lunatic. Only the SFP used for 10 GE connection costs more. The port itself would cost at least 1,000 USD or EUR (depending on the location), if it is on an Internet Exchange and comes with a limited routing table. A quality bandwidth on a full 1 GigE port costs around 1,000 USD or EUR actually. The total cost on this project at its lowest would be $1,500 (for 1 Gbps commitment on 10 GE port). It deepens what would be the average bandwidth utilization on the 10 GE port.

LoL, are you serious? If anyone is selling servers with 10Gbit dedicated bandwidth at that rate, they for sure are overselling their bandwidths. As HostColor told you should start looking for +1500$ for such configuration, from a quality provider ( quality network however, upto 1Gbit commit on that 10G link ), or if you need single home network like Cogent or only HE, you can ask them directly as they can provide you a dedicated 10Gbit ( 10Gbit commit ) link around 4.000 - 5.000$ and you can connect it to a server for yourself.

Looks like you have problems with irony and humor, LOL Indeed, most of them ( streaming clients ) looking for extremely cheap budget solutions, so do not be surprised, if you get such requests ( 10Gbps server for $400/mo ). Last edited by AndriusPetkus; 01-11-2017 at 08:35 AM.

You can build this server at Nforce on the custom server page the cost is just over 3000 euros, Leaseweb would probably be around the same cost maybe slightly cheaper.

at the provider i had in past streaming 10Gpbs with 210TB (you can request much more than that) outgoing bandwidth it will cost you 850$ - 900$ Russia location and they have DDoS protection too.. contact them for more undergroundprivate.com i not know if they will give you slot since they have a limits on the slots their network excellent without any downtime.. i think the rest is overpriced like nforce and so and they give only 30TB outgoing per dedicated and their unlimited servers is not actually unlimited but they allow you 200TB bandwidth and when you do more they charge you without notifying you..

Several different companies can offer this, depending on how good of a network you need. From a reputable provider, for a fully dedicated 10gbps port it would be over $2k/mo.

I would say for an uninterrupted 10Gbps run expects to pay about $6k-$8k for the commitment itself. Then toss another $500/month for a well built server. So in short be sure you got a wallet "armed" to deal with such bills.

Providers may not make offers either in the forum or via PM. Other users can make suggestions about providers they have experience with, or ones they know offer 10Gbit servers but that's as much as is allowed. Just about every provider that's worth a crap has 10Gbit servers these days. You can find offers in the advertising forums.
