Looking for Cloud hosting with Cpanel/whm

Posted by yello, 12-19-2010, 11:57 AM
I am looking for real cloud hosting (not vmware) with cpanel/whm. Is this possible? Can i find some affordable solution in Europe? Otherwise in USA...

most cloud hosts out there is compatible with cpanel. You could check out Dediserve.com in Europe. D

thank you but dediserve offers only up to 8gbs of ram and it costs very expensive, 300 euros/month. I think there are more affordable solutions out there.

what is your budget? does it have to be in Europe?

If it is a fast usa host ok, but i prefer Europe. I do not have specific budget but i do not want to pay 300 euros for 8gbs of ram. I could compare plans. I think that i could easily pay around 150 euros/month.

What kind of resources do you need? 8GB/RAM for 300 euros is not a bad price depending on what other system specs, storage space, and bandwidth is included with it.

Let's say 60gbs of space, 1000gbs of bandwidth, 8gbs of ram and around 4ghz cpu. I have found prices around 200 euros in european datacenters and i am wondering if i could get any better offer.

Make sure you're comparing apples to apples.. what kind of CPU's, is it really Cloud or just VPS, 4 GHz CPU is arbitrary just as "compute cycles". They're marketing terms so beware. Also what about the infrastructure of the provider? Is it semi managed or fully managed? Licenses included? Any other setup or fees? SLA?

look, i am not here to develop the infrastructure of a hosting company and write down an analysis. I just asked for some links. I will then check and compare all the available plans.

I think many offer up to 4 or 8 gb by default (we do as well). If you need more, just drop some of these providers a mail. I think all of them would be happy to mail you an offer.

Thanks, i would appreciate some links more. I understand that you run your own companies, but i need more links to compare

Well I agree with CloudWeb post , I have been obeserving this behaviour for a long time. clients always go for cheap solutions without getting the exact information about hosting companie's set up and infrastructure so these things needs to be validated first , then whatever price it is. If its high pricing them for sure the infrastructure is going to be sound and powerful. Just dont chase for cheap solutions

I would chase for something if i could find some links to compare. Now i cannot chase anything

Nobody is allowed to do any offers here, so you would have to mail some providers you noticed on the forums. There are also some other threads on this forum with clients telling about their cloud experience (mostly US based though).
